Forced To Smell Stinky Feet

September 23, 1978.

José Antonio Ferreiro González

killed by ETA in Vitoria.
José Antonio was a cop. He was 26.

His wife Julia and his daughter Pilar offered along with other victims to testify in World after the killing of Mariano de Juan Santamaría in April 1995.

Pilar:
"They are comfortable charging the" revolutionary tax "and killing, because now they have no honorable way out in front of people who want to defend ... You can not pet the rabid dog, you can not agree with death. There are many families hurt, many children without fathers and mothers without husbands, and was not the target, was a bomb and there is nothing to justify his death, there is just war ".

Julia:
"There was a time I believed that ETA was destroyed and controlled. I was wrong, it seems that rises with the same force that at its most criminals, dragging young people we educate in their ideas and do not let them see their fanaticism and their desire to kill and kill. At first I thought the transition, the consolidation of democracy under the rule of law, required all the effort and pain. But today no longer see it. Now I think the government that represents us is too soft on terrorists, and while not acting tough, Spain will not suffer for the bloodshed. Let's see if some day soon my wish is fulfilled and I can read the press or listening to the news without fear that ETA has killed again. " ______
